
| 5 January 2007 LEXUS Opens Its First 3S Center in Malaysia ![]() Kuala Lumpur, 5 January 2007 – LEXUS officially opened the doors to its first 3S center (service, sales and spare parts) in Mutiara Damansara. The all-new five LEXUS Center Mutiara Damansara was opened by the Minister of Finance II, Yang Berhormat Tan Sri Senator Nor Mohamed Yakcop in a ceremony today. The opening of the facility will serve to reinforce the brand’s entry into Malaysia in December 2006 and establish the marque’s reputation for the finest products and the most satisfying ownership experience. “The LEXUS brand is synonymous with luxury, quality, innovative engineering and of course, legendary customer service”, said Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd. “This is in line with LEXUS’ mission of achieving perfection – not only in the cars that it designs and builds but also in the ownership experiences that is extended to customers.” The all new 3S center involved an investment of over RM35 million and has a built-up area of 11,375 sq meters, featuring a showroom that can display up to 10 of the company’s latest LEXUS models. The LEXUS Center is equipped with 11 service bays and can handle up to 35 service vehicles a day. To complement these facilities, LEXUS has 25 well-trained personnel of various skills to deliver the world acclaimed LEXUS Ownership Experience. “At LEXUS, every customer is an honored guest.
