Snap & Win Lexus Weekender Contest
Terms and Conditions
A. General
1. The “Snap & Win Lexus Weekender Contest” (“Contest”) is organised by UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (Company No. 60576-K) (“Organiser”).
2. The Contest ends on Sunday, 5 October 2025, 11:59PM (Malaysian time).
3. The Contest is subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. The Organiser reserves the right to vary, add, modify and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Such variations may be communicated through channels deemed suitable by the Organiser.
4. By participating in the Contest, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
B. Eligibility
1. The Contest is open to:
i. Individuals aged 18 and above; and
ii. Malaysians holding a valid MyKad; or
iii. Foreigners residing and working in Malaysia with a valid work pass.
2. The Contest is not open to employees of the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, appointed agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members.
C. Contest Mechanics – How to Participate
1. To participate, individuals must:
i. Visit any Lexus showroom in Peninsular Malaysia during the contest period; take a photo or video with the “NX 350h” vehicle;
ii. Upload the entry to their Instagram Feed (not Instagram Story);
iii. Follow and tag @lexusmalaysia & @lexus_<dealership> on Instagram; and include the official hashtag #MyLexusSNAPandWIN in their caption.
2. All Instagram profiles must be set to public until winners are announced.
3. Each participant may submit multiple entries; however, each participant may only win one prize.
4. Entries submitted after the Contest Period will not be considered.
D. Determination of Winners
1. A total of ten (10) winners will be selected.
2. Winners will be determined by Lexus Malaysia based on creativity, originality, and brand relevance of their submitted content.
3. The judges’ decision is final, conclusive, and binding. No correspondence, appeals, or disputes will be entertained.
4. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
E. Contest Period & Winner Announcement
1. The Contest ends strictly on 5 October 2025.
2. Winners will be announced on Lexus Malaysia’s official Instagram page (@lexusmalaysia) by 12 October 2025, or on a later date as determined and announced by the Organiser.
3. Winners will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message or other means of communication using the contact information provided by the participants, as deemed appropriate by the Organiser.
F. Prize
1. Each winner will receive a 2 Days 1 Night resort stay at Lisbon Melaka by Wyndham.
2. All costs, charges, fees, and expenses of any nature not expressly provided for in relation to the prize shall be borne solely by the winners.
3. The prize:
i. is awarded on an “as-is” basis and at the winner’s own risk. The Organizer makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding the prize;
ii. is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash;
iii. may not be resold or offered for resale; and
iv. may be substituted by the Organiser with an item of equal or greater value without prior notice, in the event the original prize is unavailable for any reason.
4. If a winner fails to respond to the Organiser within fourteen (14) days of notification, the winner will be forfeited and the Organiser reserves the right to select another winner.
G. Other Terms and Conditions
1. In this section, references to “participant” shall be deemed to include the plural form (“participants”) and shall encompass winners, unless the context otherwise requires.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant or revoke any prize, at its discretion, including but not limited to cases where:
i. the participant fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
ii. the participant attempts to undermine the Contest by fraud, deception, or other misconduct; and/or
iii. the participant submits inaccurate, incomplete, or false information.
3. Participants shall not engage in any conduct that may bring the Organiser into disrepute.
4. The use of aliases, fake accounts, or entries made on behalf of another person are strictly prohibited.
5. If the Contest is cancelled, postponed, or discontinued, the Organiser shall not be liable for any claims or damages. The Organiser may, at its discretion, substitute the prize with another of equal or higher value and is done in good faith.
6. By participating, participants consent to the Organiser collecting, processing, and using their personal data in accordance with the Organiser’s Personal Data Protection Notice.
7. By entering, participants grant the Organiser the right to use, publish, and display their names, images, submissions, and comments for publicity and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation.
8. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance of the prize, except where such injury, loss, or damage is caused by the Organiser’s negligence or misconduct.
9. The Organiser’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest, including but not limited to eligibility, selection of winners, and prize distribution, shall be final and binding, and no further correspondence or appeals will be entertained. The Organiser reserves the right to make final interpretations of these Terms and Conditions, provided such decisions are made in good faith and in accordance with applicable laws.
10. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
